- Proven leadership and mentoring ability as well as team-oriented thinking (minimum 2 years)
- Computer science degree or equivalent qualifications
- Multi-year experience in backend focused the development of PHP 7.* / MySQL-based medium or large web applications
- Good knowledge of OOP, MVC architectures, SOLID principles, and other clean coding standards
- Good understanding of MySQL (MySQL 5+) including database design and performance
- Knowledge of Unit Testing and Continuous Integration

- You know how to do proper documentation of code

Job Description
- Lead, guide, mentor and develop one of our web development teams
- Exciting and varied PHP web projects in a range of areas (new feature development, online payment, mobile commerce, search technologies, crawling, business intelligence, online marketing, analysis of new technologies, refactoring, etc.)
- Responsibility for the development, maintenance, and support of web sites and applications through our entire software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Planning, effort estimations, and monitoring of development tasks
- Work with agile processes, that are adapted to the team’s and project’s needs
- Work and communicate closely with our product management teams and co-workers
- Identify and fix performance and maintenance problems, on-going improvement of our backend infrastructure
- Identify and eliminate bottlenecks, identify and implement new technologies and strategies for scaling purposes
- Code reviews to ensure the quality of our software
- Stay current with new web development technologies and best practices and share them with the team
